Linux System Administrator (Junior SysOps Engineer)

Due to the expansion of System Engineering Team Romexsoft gladly invites Junior SysOps Engineer to join our crew and develop professional skills in DevOps direction. You will resolve incidents generated by monitoring and alerting systems serving multiple customers and projects; gain and extend knowledge about AWS, Docker, ELK; develop your scripting skills (Python); ensure 24/7 support for our projects as a part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve incidents generated by monitoring and alerting systems according to Runbooks and Escalation Policies within project SLA
• Maintaining procedural documents and reports
• Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps
• Respond to customer's calls, emails, messages and act accordingly regarding issues
• Configure & maintain server monitoring solutions
• Research, analyze and propose new technology solutions for the infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Redis, ELK etc.)
• Maintain good and smooth communication with customers and others professionals through different channels like web, messengers, email, and phone

Requirements:

• 1+ years of Linux administration experience
• Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, OSI 4 etc.)
• Good English (pre-intermediate strong level or higher, written and spoken)
• Basic experience in Bash or Python scripting
• Knowledge of some monitoring tools (e.g. NewRelic and/or Zabbix and/or Nagios)
• Experience with RDBMS databases
• Basic experience with virtualization tools and technologies

Will be an advantage

• Basic knowledge of cloud systems
• Docker containerization
