Responsibility, details: What you should to do?

• Provide sustainable functioning of the EHS system in Company according to the local legislation and corporate requirements.
• Support reporting system according to the internal requirements.
• Provide and realize measures to achieve KPIs in environmental, health and safety targets.
• Implement part of business unit EHS strategy on a local level based on the global vision.
• Provide injuries and illnesses investigation and prepare preventive and corrective actions, control of the execution.
• Prepare Company to government inspections and support GSK's departments in process, industrial, labor safety and environmental issues.
• Controls the observance of applicable law, rules, standards, provisions, regulations, occupational and fire safety guidelines in the Company's divisions.
• Assesses workplace conditions, participates in the implementation of measures to create safe and healthy working environment rational work-rest schedules considering specifics of the Company, dynamics of working abilities, frequency of human physiological functions, as well as recommendations of the research institutions in the field of labor management to keep health and working abilities of people, improve labor depth and attractiveness.
• Organize and provide preliminary and regular medical examinations for the employees.
• Develop and agree occupational safety guidelines, training programs for employees, arranges advocacy and familiarization of Company's employees with rules for safety working methods.
• Provides introductory instructions (training) on health and safety matters for Company's employees, as well as for students during industrial work placement and labor training, checks their knowledge.
• Prepares draft orders on occupational safety and submits for recruiter.
• Participates in the preparation of collective labor agreement section concerning improvement of working conditions, health promotion for employees.

Requirements:

• University degree - process, industrial, labor or fire safety, environmental field (technician or engineering education)
• At least 3-year experience as Safety Engineer
• Knowledge of the local legislation in labor, fire, electrical safety and environmental
• Knowledge of the order of injuries and illnesses investigation
• EHS structure management according to OHSAS and other local documents knowledge
• Experience in interaction with labor, fire and environmental government inspections
• Experience in negotiation and working with vendors and contractors
• Experience in safety training organization and accounting
• Experience in workplaces assessments and medical examinations organization
• Experience in internal EHS audits (organization, results analysis, preventive and corrective action preparing, control of the execution)
• Experience in risk assessments and working with risks and potential hazards
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• English level upper intermediate or higher
• MS office (Power Point, Excel) - advanced user
