QA Engineer (Web)

We're looking for QA Engineer (Web)

About your team:

A team of 30+ SW & QA Engineers + 3 System Administrators, working on a cloud security product and a few mobile native products in the parental control and video editing domains.

The products have a massive back-end, using MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, Nginx, PHP-FPM. Web part is developed on PHP (Symfony Framework). The team is actively working at the optimization of our development process, implementing CI, auto-tests. 

Your job responsibilities will be:

• Project requirements analysis;
• Analysis of usage scenarios;
• Analysis of the completeness of the test coverage of the code;
• Preparation of manual and auto-test scenarios;
• Maintenance of the test documentation;
• Preparation of test reports;
• Manual testing of mobile / web applications;
• Taking part in automated testing;
• Interaction with the development team: obtaining information, reporting errors found, monitoring their correction

We are interested in:

• 2+ years of professional experience in WEB manual testing
• Good knowledge of API testing;
• Strong knowledge of software testing methods and approaches;
• Detection, documentation and tracking of defects (bugs);
• Software development life cycle and software development methodologies understanding;
• Strong analytical and investigative problem-solving skills;
• Experience with Postman;
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Good knowledge of browser dev tools
• Good knowledge OF HTTP (s)
• Able to prioritize work activities and identify risks to quality or timelines;
• Experience working with Bug Tracking systems such as Jira;
• Great interpersonal and communication skills;
• Basic in HTML/CSS
