Purchasing Specialist

Fresenius Medical Care Ukraine LLC announces open vacancy of Purchasing Specialist to join our team in our office in Kyiv.

Main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Managing and Steering:

• Responsible for SRM-Functionality, administration, content maintenance, training of system-users, first level support
• Create IT-Demand
• Drive information management regarding local interfaces for purchasing activities and implementation of purchasing initiatives set by the headquarter department EMEA Strategic Procurement

Operations:

• Purchasing of products and services
• Management of purchase requests
• Verification and approval of purchase requests
•  Assignment with suppliers / Order placement and complete order processing (if necessary, payment release)
• Verification of order confirmation
• Verification of contract fulfilment via contract partner
•  Commercial complaint handling
•  Deadline monitoring and dunning process
•  Accounts receivable management
•  Execution of administrative activities related to purchasing
• Creation and maintenance of master data
• Execution of internal/ external correspondence
• Creation of statistics and analysis
• Small requirements / Purchasing smaller requests outside existing contracts in closer cooperation with tactical purchasing:
• Purchasing of not standardized ‘small orders’ / in cooperation with tactical purchasing
• Selection and evaluation of supplier in regard to price, quality, reliability, delivery time etc.
• Execution of purchase negotiations
• Participation in supplier audits
• Assignment to supplier / Order placement and complete order processing (if necessary, payment release)
• Visits of suppliers and congresses
• Participation in projects
• Regular participation in trainings

Training, Knowledge & Skills required

• Advanced and deep knowledge and expertise regarding assigned products, markets and suppliers
• Branch-specific know-how regarding purchasing processes
• Advanced and deep knowledge and expertise regarding assigned products, markets and suppliers
• Branch-specific know-how regarding purchasing processes
• Advanced and deep knowledge and expertise regarding assigned products, markets and suppliers
• Branch-specific know-how regarding purchasing processes
• Experiences regarding purchasing processes
• Understand and use modern communication software and systems
• Deep SAP usage knowledge (general overview, Sales and Distribution module, Customer Service module)
• Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Understand basics of e-health, data security and related topics
• Up-to-date knowledge of IT and digitalization
• Ukrainian and Russian as must and English skills at Ieast at Intermediate level (presenting, writing, reading)
