BI Analyst

Location: Ukraine
Type of employment: full time, remote
Schedule:
8 hours/day from 16 pm to 12:30 am, Kyiv time

Now we are looking for an BI Analyst who is a passionate, results-driven individual, highly organized, detail-oriented, and an efficient multi-tasker with a get-it-done, figure-it-out attitude. This role will be located in our Ukraine office (remote position).

Team: Chief Analytics Officer, BI Analyst, Marketing Analyst

Our ideal candidate has the following skills and qualifications:

• Work experience of over 2 years   

• Proven problem solving and debugging skills.

• Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing, transformation, and processing. Work experience with real data for customer insights, business, and market analysis will be advantageous.

• Experience with data mining and marketing analytics.

• Knowledge and experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.)

• Familiarity with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, BigQuery etc.)

• Exceptional presentation skills

• Written and spoken English skills: Upper intermediate. 

Will be a plus:

• Bachelor’s or Masters in a quantitative field (such as Engineering, Statistics, Math, Economics, or Computer Science with Modeling/Data Science)

• The ability to program in any high-level language is preferred. Familiarity with R and statistical packages is preferred.

Job to be done:

• Create and manage the company’s online BI tool, including dashboard creation, using complex data from different data sources, such as our data warehouse and other API’s

• Conduct preliminary data analysis to assess the nature of data, perform data mining and use querying languages (for e.g. SQL), represent data through graphs, charts, and other representational techniques, present you finding through meetings, presentations, workshops, and seminars

• Conduct in-depth evaluation and analysis of marketing actions to derive insights and recommendations, creating of customers base for future marketing promotions. 

• Analyze and aggregate the effectiveness of customer acquisition campaigns using a variety of sources

• Gather information and examine web traffic, social media metrics, marketing campaigns and other activities that will design and create reports for a variety of stakeholders

• Present weekly, monthly and quarterly results to the executive team, as well has provide business insights

• To provide data insights and recommendations for optimization towards marketing goals, campaign ad spend, and campaign funnels across digital channels
