Senior Lawyer

SOC Prime is growing its team!

Now, we are seeking candidates for a position of a Senior Lawyer to join our team in Kyiv

You will join a team of lawyers responsible for providing legal support and legal risk management. This role is a balance of individual work within a highly collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

Consult and handle all corporate legal processes (e.g. intellectual property, corporate rights, financial/securities offerings, compliance issues, transactions, agreements, lawsuits, patents)

Support creation and management of corporate entities from a legal perspective

Guide managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations

Develop company policy and position on legal issues

Develop and implement scalable processes and workflows to increase the quality, efficiency, value, and effectiveness of the Legal function's operations and service delivery, including streamlining legal support processes and, where appropriate, pushing low-level workstreams to Sales professionals

Develop, implement, maintain and continuously refine forms, playbooks, fallback guides, guidelines, research files, FAQs, policies, processes, procedures, and other tools important to the efficient and effective functioning of the Legal function

Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to ensure agreements are consistent with internal corporate policies and processes

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of transactional commercial legal experience supporting SaaS sales, in roles of increasing responsibility, gained in a corporate legal department and leading law firm

Knowledge of international privacy laws and regulations.

Knowledge of corporate and/or general corporate and governance matters.

Desire to propose initiatives that will improve the company's compliance, governance, and risk management standing.

Knowledge of corporate transaction and contracting processes, including drafting, reviewing, revising, and negotiating complex agreements.

English language - fluent
