Junior Purchasing Agent

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials mainly from oversea vendors;
• Assist in Annual Performance Review for vendors;
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned;
• Analyzing category spend and supplier base in order to identify cost savings and further supply base optimization opportunities;
• Participating and leading negotiations with suppliers to achieve economies of scale and best commercial terms and conditions;
• Keeping order details into internal databases up-to-dated (e.g.vendors, quantities, prices) ;
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree (or equivalent certifications) in Economics, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field ;
• English (Intermediate and higher);
• Preferred relevant working experience in a similar capacity;
• Excellent communications and negotiation skills;
• Multitasking, self-driven, proactive, hardworking and with positive attitude;
• Confident user of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel etc.).
