Ehvert is looking for the Senior Architect who will independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.

Ehvert is a leading design firm that designs and models complex facilities (building construction projects) in Canada for financial institutions, telecommunications companies, government and other public and private sectors. Our commitment to innovation drives the company to provide excellent services to all our clients. We use advanced tools such as Revit, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, TRACE, CFD and other cutting-edge software and hardware such as Microsoft Hololens to create models to automate the design, construction and operation of commercial, institutional, multi-residential and critical buildings.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Architecture, Design, or related discipline

• 5+ years of experience

• Minimum B2 written and verbal English skills

• Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software; Revit strongly preferred

• Experience with building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly while meeting project deadlines

• Self-starters that are ambitious and thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Good project management skills

• Ability to direct and control performance

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Collaborative and professional work ethic

• Experience directing and coordinating work efforts of junior staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and documentation coordination including the development of design drawings, technical documentation, and leading project team assignments

• Develop and maintain the project scope of work documentation and revisions as required during the design evolution

• Prepare of engineering calculations, schematic designs and detailed designs

• Prepare technical documentation required for the execution of the project including, design criteria, design calculations, process flow sheets, and specification

• Produce models and drawings in various BIM software and CAD modeling tools

• Ensure coordination between team members of all activities being performed as the design evolves

• Provide guidance and assistance to junior engineers.
