Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Create interaction patterns, workflows, screens and UI components that improve our SaaS platform, mobile app and e-Commerce website.
2. Work closely with cross-functional teams (developers, marketing specialists and product managers) to develop concepts and move concepts from wireframes to high-fidelity user interface designs.
3. Understand business requirements and objectives and help clarify them for others.
4. Actively participate in design critiques, stakeholder reviews, and customer demos.
5. Help improve the way the design team works from iteration to iteration
6. Create user stories, personas, and storyboards; Create sitemaps, prototypes and wireframes.
7. Keep up to date on the latest design practices and standards such as Accessibility and Usability.
8. Liaise with departments across our platforms to research, create and maintain online content.
9. Source and edit (where appropriate) images, taking into account current copyright legislation.
10. Together with Marketing and Business Development colleagues, devise and publish integrated promotional campaigns for various deals on e-Commerce website.
11. Find creative and new ways to organize ad-hoc and complex content to ensure the website stays fresh and continues to appeal to new audiences.

Ideal candidate:

1. A good grasp of the English language is a must
2. Bachelor’s degree in design or marketing related field
3. One year of UX/UI design experience for web applications
4. Expert level proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, Plant, and prototyping tools like Axure RP, Invision or UXPin, etc.
5. Experience working across multiple phases of design (interaction, visual design and prototyping)
6. Experience creating interactive modern user interfaces and marketing material
7. Ability to clearly communicate design ideas to both designers and non-designers
8. A creative portfolio that can demonstrate design proficiency (can be web based or printed material)
9. Stay current on technology trends to inform and inspire modern design

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Good communication skills in multiple languages, such as Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Polish, Russian, and Chinese
• Extreme attention to detail (pixel-level sensitivity)
• Experience with cellphone technology and news
• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 is a plus
• Basic knowledge of the how a website is built
• Have a strong Design and UX portfolio in data visualization projects
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills - ability to influence and work collaboratively within the group and across business units/functions – high emotional intelligence.
