About the vacancy

We are looking for a DevOps AWS Engineer to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers.
 You will have an opportunity to be a part of the R&D team of a well-known Belgium company which has 30 years of experience in designing and maintaining Passenger Information Systems, Entertainment Systems, Infotainment Systems, and Control & (Safety) Monitoring Systems.

About the project

To deliver seamless railway communication solutions, our client has a set of own advanced software and tools, covering the full cycle of their development – from idea validation to development, testing, governance, and support. These tools allow our client to efficiently operate applications remotely, update configurations and content on the train and manage onboard passenger communication tasks. They apply the most recent technologies to offer their global customers the best products possible.

Mission

• Gather and analyse cloud infrastructure requirements
• Analyse and improve up on existing systems, services and infrastructure
• Operate the platform within security and privacy guidelines
• Take an active part in refining requirements
• Communicate directly with a client on a daily basis
    

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on working experience in building DevOps platform in AWS cloud
• Knowledge of container technologies (Docker or similar)
• Experience with automatically provisioning and configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet)
• Hands-on experience in designing and building Continuous Delivery with GitHub, Jenkins (Groovy, scripting pipelines)
• Experience in Agile principles such as Lean, Kanban, Scrum, TDD/BDD
• Upper-intermediate level of English

• Working experience with Azure platforms
