Senior DevOps Engineer

Skelia invites Senior DevOps Engineer for long-term and full-time employment at its service center in Lviv, Ukraine.

You will have an opportunity to be a part of the R&D team of a well-known Belgium company which has 30 years of experience in designing and maintaining Passenger Information Systems, Entertainment Systems, Infotainment Systems, and Control & (Safety) Monitoring Systems.

MISSION

• Interpretation and analysis of the business needs communicated by the Product Manager
• Design and implement an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy
• Design, develop and implement software and system integrations
• Deploy integrated systems to the Cloud (AWS/Azure)
• Setup test, staging and production environments
• Deploy upgrades, fixes to Cloud systems and applications
• Setup infrastructure, system, container, application monitoring systems
• Manage security configurations such as firewall settings, certificate management/renewal
• Perform backups, prepare data recovery strategies, test data recovery strategies
• Implement/Integrate with automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines)
• Work together with the team lead/architect on designing secure architecture patterns to fulfil the business needs

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience

• Experience with setting up and managing monitoring frameworks (ELK, Syslog)

• Have knowledge of IP network protocols and Linux scripting

• Possess a strong command of software-automation production systems (Jenkins and Selenium)
