Product Design Office Coordinator

As the Product Design Office Coordinator, you will oversee the coordination of resources and personnel within the design department, fostering creativity and managing a team of talented designers.

Key responsibilities:

Resources management:

• Effectively allocate and manage design resources;
• Conduct regular 1-1 sessions with designers to foster individual growth.

Leadership and coaching:

• Engage in 1?1 sessions with the Design Tech Leader, providing leadership coaching.
• Lead team formation, and stand-ups, and cultivate a culture of case sharing.

 Operations:

• Maintain and curate the Design Office Knowledge Database.
• Attending brainstorms on complex product cases.

 Marketing and Partnership:

• Lead compelling marketing materials about PDO to showcase our design capabilities.
• Establish and nurture niche partnerships to enhance our design ecosystem.
• Support sales cycle for design work.

 Talent development:

• Craft career development plans for the design team.
• Assist in the development and training of the team members.

 Performance management :

• Conduct job performance reviews for designers.
• Oversee tech skills development and mentoring, as well as soft skills enhancement.

 Human Resources:

• Take charge of hiring and firing processes for the design team.
• Manage a team of 10+ professional designers.

 Problems solving and innovations:

• Solve business challenges focusing on enhancing experiences for prospects, customers, and staff.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and support the team in overcoming challenges.

 Continuous development:

• Support the team in improving and evolving work processes.
• Control established creative strategy, budgets, and schedules for key design projects.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English at a B2 level or higher for effective communication.
• Willingness to travel: Lviv, Lodz, Europe (to clients).
• Proven leadership experience.
• Minimum 3 years of successful team leadership.
• Track record of successful collaboration with technical and commercial partners.
• Highly self-motivated and organized, with excellent collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage, mentor, and inspire teams towards shared goals.
