Mechanical engineer

Currently, our Lviv office team is looking for a Mechanical engineer to join our hivecell.io hardware team. The Team is responsible for research, design, and development of products throughout the Hivecell portfolio.

As a Mechanical engineer, you will shape the future by designing products that harness the power of our company to delight and inspire millions of people worldwide.

We are looking for a specialist with:

• 3 years of experience as a mechanical engineer;

• Skill in 3D modeling, Solidworks preferred;

• Skill in 2D and 3D design visualization tools, such as Keyshot and Adobe CC;

• Strong sketching skills;

• Experience solving complex problems through design;

• A developed sense of aesthetics and care for details;

• Comfortable creating prototypes using a variety of methods;

• Experience working with engineering and manufacturing constraints;

• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes for cases.

You will have the following responsibilities:

• Contribute to the product vision;

• Address and resolve heat issues in design;

• Address and resolve manufacturability, ruggedization, vibration, dust and moister protection;

• Develop concepts, with clear and compelling visual communication;

• Prototype continuously, from quick mockups to refined cosmetic models using advanced 3D printing;

• Test designs with users, translate results back into the design process;

• Create robust CAD in Solidworks to communicate design intent;

• Collaborate with engineering and suppliers to create manufacturable solutions.
