Demand planning specialist

    In co-responsibility with the actors of Product Market Pool, the planner ensures availability of required products in central warehouses and stores in proper quantities, on right time and at optimal logistic cost.

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Sales forecasting:

    • Sales analysis and forecasting with attention to shortages, implantation level and occasional selling picks
    • Sales forecast of new products (in cooperation with Product Managers)
    • Purchasing budget planning (Middle-term and long-term), taking in consideration input of Product Manager (new collection, product replacement, seasonality)
    • Establishing and utilizing best methods (statistical models and tools) in creating forecasts
    • Cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, finance departments during S&OP meetings
    • Continuously improvement of forecasting techniques and approach

     

    Support of Product Manager:

    • Optimization of logistic parameters (PCB, MOQ, Franco, box size, etc)
    • Logistics Master data management
    • Choice of stock circuit type (permanent or seasonality)
    • Calculation and regular up-date of cession prices
    • Parameterization of APS tool (sales profile, forecast algorithm, target level of service rate, etc) along or with the help of business analysts

     

    Orders creation and follow up, in cooperation with Product Manager:

    • Consolidation of stores orders on engagement (and their validation/correction)
    • Orders placement in IT system
    • Preparation and checking of orders documentation (Order forms, Order Confirmations, certification, etc)
    • Orders follow-up

     

    Stock management:

    • Inventory management and optimization to ensure target stock level
    • Identifying and managing potential stock obsolescence

     

    Other related tasks by demand.

     

    REQUIREMENTS

    • At least 1 year of relevant experience
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, strong communication and analytical skills
    • Experienced in MS Office (advanced user of Excel)
    • English (ability to communicate and correspond)
    • Aspiration of self-development and continuous process improvement
    • Ability to work with the wide scope of the activities and under the tight schedules
    • Strong organizational and administration skills
