Senior Management Accountant

The Opportunity
We are looking for a focused and reliable candidate to join our Ukrainian team as a Senior Management Accountant. You will be responsible for ensuring all reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner, investigating and understanding any variance encountered and concisely reporting this to senior management. This is a great chance to be involved fast moving company and become a valuable part of the finance team which spans the Ukraine and the UK and the US. You will be reporting to the Group financial controller in London and working closely with key stake holders across the business.

Role Responsibilities
• Responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts including the group consolidation and related board slides on a timely basis
• Work alongside a global team to ensure that all month end tasks are completed on a timely basis, escalating any concerns in a prompt manner
• Ensure all BS recs are completed promptly after ME close
• To instigate business partnering with budget holders and other key stakeholders to ensure that financial information is communicated efficiently across the business to drive more effective business decision making
• Working closely with the group financial controller to drive a continual improvement process around reporting
• Manage the creation and submission of all investor reporting to agreed deadlines
• Key contact for the onsite audit team, preparing files required with the wider finance team
• Give insight to the actual overhead spend to support the FP&A team in creating budgets and reforecasts
• Support the review of UK payroll
• Authorise the weekly payment run
• Adhoc analysis work to get a deeper understanding of costs as required


Desired Skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and build relationships with internal and external parties to solve problems and resolve queries
• Great attention to detail
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant would be beneficial, but at least 5 years experience preparing and reviewing group management accounts is essential
• Planning, prioritisation and time management skills
• Excellent MS Office Excel skills
• Integrity and discretion
• Experience of MS Dynamic Nav software would be beneficial
• At least 5 years in an management accounts role within a high volume/low value business
• Reliable, confident and able to work on own initiative and with limited supervision
