Junior pricing analyst

"Dutchstar" offers challenging jobs in a young & ambitious English-speaking team. In this role, you will be responsible for pricing and forecasting of nightly rentals in the EU (locations such as Amsterdam, Malta, France, Krakow, Lviv). You will have the opportunity that your pricing strategy will be automatically pushed to such websites as Booking.com by our software, and you have full price control. Your goal is to maximize revenue on all properties and make different plans & strategies depending on location and season. 

Duties:

• Preparation of long-term and short-term price forecasts
• Constant short-term forecast of accommodation prices on a regular basis
• Monitoring and reporting of accommodation pricing of our competition on booking.com
• Market analysis
• Drive key pricing decisions using analytical approaches and modeling
• Set pricing according to the effective statistical observations, company's key financial requirement, and customer needs
• Update pricing according to the special occasions, holidays, etc
• In collaboration with booking manager, make sure that listings are posted according to the most efficient strategy(booking.com commission increase tricks, happy hours to book, etc )
• Analyze key causes (incl threats & opportunities) for pricing updates
• Develop a strategy to maximize revenue
• Daily analysis, strategy adjustments, and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or master level education in economics, statistics, applied mathematics, etc
• Interested in forecasting the future
• Good general computer skills (Word, Excel, Skype, email, etc.)
• Good English language skills
• Good analytical skills
• Attentive and responsible person

Availability:

• Full-time, 5 days per week, 10:00-19:00
