Chief accountant with financial controlling function

An international company is looking for a Chief accountant with a financial controlling function

Core responsibilities:

• Maintain and consolidate the company’s accounting books according to the statutory regulations
• Manage tax accounting in accordance with UA tax legislation
• Preparation and submission of statutory financial, statistic and tax reports
• Payroll calculation and accounting, including HR documentation preparation
• Corporate income tax calculation and Corporate Tax reporting
• VAT administration and reporting
• Ensure proper documentation support as per Tax code for all accounting entries
• Provide consulting on taxation matters, including agreements review
• Payroll calculation and accounting
• Development and implementation of activity for improving of accounting and reporting processes Prepare necessary management reports on monthly basis P&L and BS Budgeting and control
• Cash management

Required hard skills:

• Knowledge of national accounting standards Knowledge and application practice of the Tax Code of Ukraine
• PC literacy:1C, MS Office
• English Intermediate

Required soft skills:

• Strong analytical skills
• Must be proactive, prompt, precise and oriented on problem-solving
• Must be acknowledged in the Ukrainian film law, rebates for foreign investments and tax specific issues for film companies
