Branch Operations Manager

As the Offshore UA Facility Manager at Brite Logistics, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing our offshore facility in the UA (Ukraine). This position is responsible for not only driving operational excellence and technology integration but also for building and leading a local team, ensuring the smooth functioning of the facility, and providing critical support to the US Operations leader. This role is multifaceted, encompassing both operational and strategic responsibilities, especially in navigating potential geopolitical challenges in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Excellence and Technology Integration:
2. Align with the company's global operational standards and implement efficiency measures in line with the US Operations leader's directives.
3. Drive technology integration initiatives to streamline processes and enhance overall productivity in the offshore facility.
4. Team Leadership and Development:
5. Recruit, train, and manage support roles that mirror those in the US, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
6. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the offshore team.
7. Facility Management:
8. Oversee day-to-day operations of the offshore facility, including maintenance, security, and utilities.
9. Manage relationships with local vendors and service providers to ensure smooth facility operations.
10. Emergency Preparedness:
11. Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation and relocation procedures, to address potential geopolitical conflicts or other critical situations.
12. Ensure the facility is equipped with backup power solutions and other resources to sustain operations during emergencies.
13. Collaboration and Communication:
14. Act as a liaison between the offshore team and the US Operations leader, providing regular updates on facility performance and challenges.
15. Collaborate with the US team to address any cross-functional requirements and provide leadership support when needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a managerial role with a focus on offshore facility management, ideally in a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of technology solutions relevant to the organization's operations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
• Experience in emergency preparedness and response, with a focus on geopolitical challenges.
• Effective communication skills to convey complex information and lead teams through critical situations.
• Knowledge of local regulations and business practices in the UA.

Preferred Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Certification in Emergency Management or relevant fields.

Previous experience working in the UA or a similar international setting.
