Cloud Engineer/DevOps

Our customer is the leading provider of cybercrime protection and intelligence services, headquartered in Charleston, SC, is seeking an experienced Cloud Systems Engineer to join our exceptional team dedicated to fighting back against attacks that exploit people.

Responsibilities:

• Support cloud infrastructure in collaboration with multiple software product teams
• Build solutions to support detecting, analyzing, fighting and reporting on cyber security threats
• Change the economics of running the business with automated highly available, scalable, and maintainable solutions
• Respond rapidly to identify and solve production issues on diverse interrelated systems
• Provide oncall technical support for production issues in rotation with other team members
• Network with internal stakeholders at all levels of technical skill
• Optimize the cost and effort needed to operate legacy systems
• Build, tune and operate kubernetes clusters in production, development, staging environments
• Create and support CD pipelines with multiple product teams
• Design and support data solutions for varying business needs
• Maintain compliance with security standards and audit requirements (PCI DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO27001 or similar)
• Clearly document infrastructure processes and tools, implement self-documenting solutions.

Requirements:

• 3+ years in cloud infrastructure automation
• Strong coding and scripting experience (Python, Ruby, bash, Perl, PHP, awscli, etc.)
• Deployment automation experience (Cloudformation, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.)
• Log management and alerting experience (ELK, Splunk, Cloudwatch, Sentry, etc.)
• Event and alert management experience (Datadog, Cloudwatch, Nagios, Prometheus and equivalents)
• Database management including MySql, MSSql, Elasticsearch, MongoDB
• Experience in an Agile SDLC environment using Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Estimation, Grooming, Prioritization
• Experience in email administration including Sendmail, Postfix, AWS SES.
• Experience with authentication management using 2FA, Oauth, SAML, LDAP
• Strong networking skills including AWS VPC, IPSEC, segmentation, NAT, Load Balancing, DNS, FTPS, SMTP, LDAP, HTTPS
• Experience with a variety of AWS services including EC2, S3, SQS, SES, RDS, Aurora, Cloudwatch, Cloudtrails, Cloudformation
• Strong system administration experience in managing Linux and Windows servers at scale including application layers such as IIS, Apache, Nginx, Tomcat.
