SiTime is looking for AP Accountant for a temporary position.

b Summary:

Accounts payable Accountant is responsible for performing a range of accounting tasks related to the accounts payable function. This generally includes receiving, processing, and verifying invoices, tracking and recording purchase orders, and processing payments. The main aim is to help to process, track, and record invoices in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

Responsibilities :

  • Review and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
  • Perform invoice and general ledger data entry
  • Understand expense accounts and cost centers
  • Match invoice with Purchase Order
  • Clarifying questionable invoice items, prices/quantity mismatch 
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9/8, sales tax, etc.)
  • Provide timely responses to all requests related to accounts payable inquiries
  • Сorrespond with vendors and respond to inquiries
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
  • Conference calls with US office on monthly basis relating AP issues and inquires, and others
  • Assist with month-end closing and reconciliation
  • Maintaining accurate records and providing documentation for auditing

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • MS/BS in Accounting/Finance/Economics.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting
  • English language (intermediate and above); verbal and written communication skills
  • Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with Accounting/ERP systems, MS Dynamics/ Great Plain
