Lead C++ Developer

Edvantis is looking for Lead Linux C++ Developer to work on the project of our partner, a large worldwide manufacturer of high-power industrial X-ray machines. You will lead the team responsible for maintaining and implementing a set of changes in the software side of the millimeter wave-based people screening solution.

Responsibilities:

• Extend and implement new functionality in the existing distributed software system
• Leading the projects and sub-projects, communicate with the customer
• Support and update documentation in Jira/Confluence
• Requirements management and prioritization
• Be ready to solve different challenging tasks

Position Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in C++ commercial development
• You use Linux as the main development platform(Debian, CentOS)
• You are familiar with GCC, GNU Make
• Practical experience with QT toolkit and QT Creator
• Experience with Apache Thrift
• Analytical-methodical and structured thinking, creativity, organizational skills, result, and solution orientation
• Understanding of event-driven architecture, multithreading
• Experience in agile software development and/or other IT process models
• Enjoy conceptual work and solving complex problems
• Self-reliance and confidence appearance
• Upper Intermediate level of English language

Will be a plus:

• Experience with Python
• Experience with Java-based web apps / Tomcat
