Payables Accountant

We are looking for an Payables - Accountant to ensure the integrity of accounting information by researching account issues for compliance and by establishing quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Tracking all Incoming supplier invoice & allocating to respective services provided.
• Timely follow up of all Non received invoices with the suppliers.
• Maintenance of supplier statement of account and reconciling with our records.
• Payment allocation against the respective invoices in the Sage accounting system.
• Maintenance of supplier advances /prepayment and following for the final invoices.
• Tracking of Credit Notes /Rebate/Discounts from the suppliers and ensure the accounting of the same.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with our suppliers.
• Preparing ad hoc financial reporting request, other analysis and special projects as requested by management.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills (practiced capability/behaviors)

• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
• Excellent standard of written and spoken English, Ukrainian and Russian

Experience

Essential: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar capacity

Outstanding knowledge of electronic spreadsheets

Desirable: Knowledge of the airline/aviation industry

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
