Business Intelligence Specialist

Job description

The Business Intelligence specialist acts as a part of Corporate Business Intelligence organization within Kuehne + Nagel Contract Logistics functional unit and deals with data analysis, reports creation, user and application support of the SAP BO application with main focus on in-house Warehouse and Distribution Management System which is used in over 65 countries across the world.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Data Analysis, BI report and dashboard design;
• Data process flow and SQL optimization;
• User support, management, troubleshooting;
• Manage & prioritize workload based on operational needs;
• Consulting users on processes and key BI solutions;
• Providing workaround solution to BI key users;
• Continuous improvement of the product in close cooperation with the end users and business application owner;
• Providing training in person, webinars, creation of technical documentation;

Your skills and experience

• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience;
• Experience in BI applications is a must (BO, Tableau, PowerBI, etc);
• Advanced SQL knowledge is a plus;
• 2+ experience of BI solutions;
• Database (Oracle, Postgres), ETL (Pentaho) experience is a plus;
• Experience of working in projects across IT, IS and other departments;
• International working experience in IT, Logistics or SCM background;
• Upper intermediate English is a must;
