SENIOR AUDIT MANAGER, Baku

Our client, a branch of a leading global audit company with an office in Azerbaijan, is announcing a competition to fill the vacant position of SENIOR AUDIT MANAGER, Baku.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage engagement teams;
 - Manage and develop client relationship;
 - Plan audit, oversee fieldwork and review audit file;
 - Ensure quality of work and compliance with applicable professional standards;
 - Foster introduction of new audit tools and techniques;
 - Be conscious of professional liability;
 - Refer ethical, independence and conflict issues associated with clients and assignments to the Partner;
 - Develop understanding of client industries and identify value added recommendations;
 - Represent BDO in a professional manner at all times through punctuality & appearance;
 - Meet client expectations and project deadlines;
 - Develop people.

REQUIREMENTS:

 - Higher education degree;
 - Over 8 years of experience in the field of external auditing;
 - Strong understanding of ISA and ISQM requirements;
 - Internationally recognized professional qualification (CA, CPA or ACCA);
 - Fluency in English. Professional experience must include proficiency in English as a primary working language. Native-level proficiency in Russian is preferred;
 - Strong analytical, planning and communication skills;
 - Demonstrable team management experience;
 - Ability to demonstrate presentation skills and strong team leadership skills;
 - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
