Vocational Trainings Specialist

 

 

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) has supported the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) to provide humanitarian aid and psychosocial support to the most vulnerable Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), demobilized soldiers and their families aiming to overcome consequences of the armed conflict in Eastern part of Ukraine. PSS is providing in the form of hospital visits, support groups, art and creative classes, family activities, however, for the next 9 months project activities will contain vocational trainings, among others. Thus, the URCS is looking for a Vocational Trainings Specialist who would contribute to the project by providing beneficiaries with needed skills and knowledge to set up their own business projects.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyses of socio-economic context of the targeted regions to identify appropriate interventions for beneficiaries;
  • Analysis of beneficiaries' requests and applications;
  • Planning, organizing and conducting professional trainings in project regions in accordance with identified needs (will be an advantage);
  • Procurement of necessary materials for training, selection of participants and coaches, selection of grantees;
  • Monitoring and evaluation, documentation maintenance;
  • Regular reporting to the Project Manager and donors (as required);
  • Liaise with organizations of similar project profile and advise on cooperation and coordination.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Degree in Project Management, Economics or other related field;
  • Experience of working on project implementation with international organizations in relevant fields (experience in working with organization implementing direct vocational trainings would be an advantage);
  • Good decision making, planning, organizational, negotiating, and analytical skills;
  • Knowledge of socioeconomic analysis, grant management, basic knowledge of marketing and business planning;
  • Excellent command of English, Ukrainian and Russian.

  • Location - Kyiv, with constant field visits;
