The vacancy for a Manager Seed Production at Rijk Zwaan Ukraine

Rijk Zwaan Ukraine is one of the subsidiaries of Rijk Zwaan, active in seed production.

Our seed production project will be led by a team of two managers. To strengthen the production activities we are currently looking for a Manager Seed Production with a focus on managing people and planning. Within this role you are especially responsible for high quality seed production and the management of the production team. You will be directly responsible for creating and keeping up a highly motivated team. Hygiene and quality are important features for the seed production. You report to the Managing Director of Rijk Zwaan Ukraine, located in Kyiv with a functional reporting line to the Manager Production & Supply in The Netherlands.

We are seeking a Manager Seed Production with:

• a BSc degree, preferably in the area of Horticulture
• at least 5 years of relevant experience in horticulture/seed production/ high-tech greenhouses

Furthermore you are an experienced and people-oriented manager. You like to cooperate in a team, you are flexible and have a practical, hands-on attitude. You have strong communication skills and you speak English fluently.
