ETL Engineer

WizPlay is looking for ETL Engineer. The perfect candidate enjoys working with large volumes of complex data in a heterogeneous data environment.

WizPlay is a part of a group of companies comprised of veterans in the gaming industry, with hundreds of outstanding games and success stories leading to IPOs and M&A. WizPlay has an existing talent top management team with many years of experience in the social casual games.

Wizplay, is about to develop a new social platform.

The platform will be based on data driven systems with the latest technologies, able to deliver fast casual games applications with a combination of hundreds of existing successful games.

The platform will provide a unique personalized marketing platform that brings a new gaming experience to our players, with the vision of being the first mobile platform that uses close data circles between all digital marketing channels and in-app user journey and vice versa.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Development, testing and support of the ETL process
• Other data engineering tasks by need

Experience & qualifications:

• 5+ years of common experience in data-driven applications (as ADBA, DB programmer, ETL developer, backend programmer, reports developer, etc.)
• 2+ years in heterogeneous data environment
• 3+ years of intensive experience using SQL and RDBMS
• 1+ years of intensive experience using Python
• Practical experience with at least one additional programming language
• Understanding and some experience in Airflow
• Practical experience with Tableau (or other high level reporting tool)

• Data-oriented person with a good understanding of various databases
• Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, self-learning but not hesitate to ask questions
• Abilities and tendency to automate routine work
• The high concentration, caution and patience required to work with data
• Willingness to discuss tasks and problems together
