Опис посади

Психолог підтримує взаємодію TDH у сфері психічного здоров’я та психосоціальної підтримки (MHPSS) на всіх етапах ведення справ щодо неповнолітніх без супроводу, оцінки, планування, реалізації, подальшого спостереження та перегляду. Надають технічні поради MHPSS, а також розробляють і впроваджують цілеспрямовані та нецілеспрямовані заходи PSS, які відповідають визначеним потребам дітей без супроводу, які перетинають кордон з України.

Психолог тісно співпрацює з іншими суб’єктами підтримки психічного здоров’я та психосоціальною підтримкою, включаючи місцеву владу, щоб скласти карту та за потреби оновити шляхи направлення, підтримати та зміцнити існуючі втручання.

ОСНОВНІ ОБОВ'ЯЗКИ

Стратегія

• Підтримка MHPSS оцінки потреб цільової групи.
• Картографування та визначення зовнішніх служб психічного здоров'я та PSS для цільового направлення.
• Проводить розробку відповідних стратегій реагування MHPSS та задіяння для надання послуг MHPSS.

Безпосередне надання послуг

• Інформування соціальних працівників про відповідні шляхи направлення для випадків MHPSS.
• Підтримка навчання та наставництва опікунів, медичних працівників та перекладачів для проведення неспеціалізованих заходів PSS.
• Проводення індивідуальних та групових заходи PSS, які відповідають визначеним потребам і включають відповідні підходи та моделі психічного здоров’я (наприклад, когнітивно-поведінкова терапія, гуманістичний, особистісно-орієнтований підхід, системний підхід тощо) для дітей без супроводу; включаючи психоосвіту та обізнаність щодо психічного здоров’я.
• Проводити контроль, щодо дотримання діяльністі відповідно до міжнародних прав людини та законодавства України.
• Проводити контроль, щодо проведення заходів відповідно до Стандартних операційних процедур Tdh і вимог до документації, дотримуватись основних принципів Міжвідомчого постійного комітету MHPSS Керівництво (наприклад, Не нашкодь, багаторівнева підтримка, конфіденційність і захист даних, координація тощо).
• Підтримувати соціальних працівників у діяльності з ведення випадків, за потреби (наприклад, під час оцінки, планування випадку, направлення, подальшого спостереження, конференцій щодо випадку тощо).
• Супроводжувати членів цільової групи до державних служб і зовнішніх учасників, якщо це необхідно.
• Співпрацюйте з групою моніторингу та оцінки, щоб забезпечити своєчасне подання точних звітів і даних з дотриманням протоколів захисту даних і конфіденційності.
• Забезпечувати своєчасне надання тижневих планів і звітів лінійному керівнику та технічному керівнику.

Вимоги:  

Освіта / Кваліфікація: вища психологічна освіта. Знання PFA та/або надання допомоги організаційному персоналу, буде перевагою. Добре знання місцевого законодавства щодо догляду за дітьми за MHPSS та місцевих і національних шляхів направлення. 

Досвід роботи: мінімум 2 роки досвіду роботи на аналогічній посаді в галузі. Попередній досвід роботи з дітьми, буде перевагою. Бажано попередній досвід роботи в громадських організаціях. Підтверджена репутація та досвід роботи в надзвичайних ситуаціях, будуть перевагою. 

Знання мови: вільне володіння українською мовою (усною та письмовою); володіння англійською мовою буде перевагою;

Знання ІТ: добре знання ІТ (Microsoft Office, Internet).

Active in more than 30 countries, Tdh works with its own teams and/or local and international partners to develop and implement field projects which significantly improve the daily lives of over four million children and members of their communities every year, with a focus on mother and child health, migration, and access to justice for children.

Tdh started operations in Ukraine in 2015 and operated until February 2022 through 2 operational offices in Mariupol and Sievierodonetsk, while maintaining a coordination/representation office in Kyiv. Following the Invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation Army, the Tdh team has relocated in Ivano Frankivsk, where it started operations for the area of West Ukraine, which is the first operational base for the response to the current humanitarian crisis. The organization is aiming to operate in the Kyiv and surrounding areas and potentially in East Ukraine. We are providing various services to children, youth and their families in the conflict affected area, with a strong focus on psychosocial support.

ROLE DESCRIPTION 

The psychologist supports Tdh mental health and psychosocial support interventions (MHPSS) in all stag-es of case management activities for Unaccompanied Minors, assessment, planning, implementation, fol-low up and review, and closure of cases. They provide MHPSS technical advice, and also design and im-plement focused and non-focused PSS activities which respond to identified needs of the unaccompanied children that are crossing the border from Ukraine. 

The Psychologist works closely with other mental health and psychosocial support actors including local authorities in order to map and update as needed referral pathways, support and strengthen existing in-terventions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

Design and Strategy

• Support with MHPSS needs assessments of the target population.
• Support efforts to map and identify external mental health and PSS services for referrals.
• Provides input into the design of relevant MHPSS response strategies and interventions to strengthen MHPSS service delivery.  

Direct Service Delivery

• Keep social workers informed of relevant referral pathways for MHPSS cases. 
• Support interventions to train and mentor caregivers, case workers and interpreters   to run non-specialised PSS activities. 
• Deliver individual and group PSS activities which address identified needs and incorporate appropriate mental health approaches and models (e.g. cognitive behavioural therapy, humanistic, person-centred approach, systemic approach, etc.) for the unaccompanied children; including but not limited to psycho-education and mental health awareness. 
• Ensure that activities are delivered in line with international human rights and Ukraine Law.
• Ensure that activities are implemented in line Tdh’s Standard Operation Procedures and documentation requirements, adhere to the fundamental principles of Interagency Standing Committee MHPSS Guidelines (e.g. Do No Harm, Multi-layered supports, confidentiality & data protection, coordination, etc.).
• Support social workers with case management activities as requested (e.g. during assessment, case planning, referral, follow up, case conferences, etc.). 
• Accompany target population members to public services and external actors if required.
• Collaborate with the monitoring and evaluation team to ensure the timely submission of accurate reports and data respecting data protection protocols and confidentiality.
• Ensure timely submission of weekly plans and reports to the line manager and technical supervisor.

YOUR PROFILE  

Education / Qualifications: University degree in Psychology. Ability to work under pressure and cope with challenging environments. Knowledge of PFA and / or delivering organisational staff care would be an advantage. Good knowledge of local legislation with regard to MHPSS care for children and local and national referral pathways. 

Experience:        At least 2 years’ experience in similar position in the field. Previous experience of working with children. Previous experience with an NGO is desirable. Proven track record and experience in emergencies would be an advantage. 

Languages: Fluency in Ukrainian (oral and written); knowledge of English will be an advantage;

IT Knowledges: Good IT knowledge (Microsoft Office, Internet).
