 Опис посади

Основною функцією цієї посади є організація групових заходів з психосоціальної підтримки населення, участь у реалізації проектних заходів, організація та участь у проведенні моніторингу в рамках проектної діяльності.

ОСНОВНІ ОБОВ'ЯЗКИ

• Організація психосоціальних заходів, орієнтованих на дітей та підлітків з метою покращення  психосоціального благополуччя та розвитку життєстійкості у дітей та підлітків. 
• Сприяння просвітницькій діяльності з метою підсилення виховного потенціалу батьків/опікунів.
• Організація психосоціальних заходів з метою підсилення потенціалу фахівців громад в сфері надання психосоціальної підтримки населенню.
• Координація діяльності мобільних команд психосоціальної підтримки.
• У координації та співпраці з керівником команди ПЗПСП готує щотижневі та щомісячні робочі плани з чіткими цілями, що визначають короткострокові, середньострокові та довгострокові пріоритети. 
• Регулярно інформує керівника команди ПЗПСП та менеджера Проєкту про хід реалізації проєктних активностей на місцях та/або про будь-які зміни, які необхідно внести до процесу впровадження. 
• Сприяє внутрішньому та зовнішньому перенаправленню дітей/підлітків, які відвідують психосоціальні заходи  і потребують додаткової підтримки, догляду або захисту. 
• Бере участь в складанні переліку необхідного інвентарю та матеріалів, необхідних для проведення психосоціальних занять і тренінгів.
• Забезпечує контроль щодо зберігання, використання та доступності для проведення заходів необхідного інвентаря та матеріалів.
• Оформлює та веде робочу документацію з дотриманням загальних вимог ведення ділової документації.
• Контролює передачу інвентарю та матеріалів партнерам організації  в рамках проєктної діяльності з відповідним оформленням документації.
• Організує та бере участь  у заходах з моніторингу та оцінки для збору відгуків та думок бенефіціарів щодо якості та задоволеності діяльністю, а також забезпечення того, щоб цей зворотній зв'язок використовувався для реалізації психосоціальних заходів. 

Координація та представництво

• Налагоджувати та підтримувати позитивні та ефективні відносини з цільовими бенефіціарами, членами громади, партнерами Tdh, учасниками та не учасниками Проєкту, офіційними та неофіційними місцевими органами влади, керівництвом об'єкту, громадськими організаціями та ін.  
• Брати участь у форумах та зустрічах, що проводяться на рівні приймаючої громади, коли це доречно та необхідно .

Захист / охорона дітей 

• Сприяти інклюзії та рівному доступу для кожної дитини, приділяючи особливу увагу найбільш вразливим дітям, дітям з груп ризику та дітям з інвалідністю. 
• Виявляти потенційні випадки дітей, які потребують додаткової підтримки, догляду або захисту, та повідомляти про це Команді кейс-менеджменту.
• Постійно підтримувати сувору конфіденційність щодо інформації та даних бенефіціарів.
• Забезпечити інтеграцію Мінімальних стандартів захисту дітей в усі види активностей в рамках  ПЗПСП.
• Повідомляйте про серйозні випадки насильства над дітьми відповідно до політик Terre des hommes. Необхідно дотримуватися суворої конфіденційності.

Інше

• Повністю дотримуватися Кодексу поведінки Tdh та забезпечувати постійне дотримання політики захисту дітей 
• Забезпечити дотримання стандартів Tdh та вимог до якості в усіх видах діяльності за проектом.

Вимоги: 

Освіта / Кваліфікація: 

• Вища освіта (бакалавр/магістр) в галузі соціальної роботи, психології, педагогіки або іншої суміжної галузі. 

Досвід роботи: 

• Від 1 року досвіду роботи на аналогічній посаді;
• Попередній досвід роботи з молодіжними цільовими групами є корисним;
• Досвід роботи з представниками територіальних громад, громадськими організаціями буде перевагою;
• Розуміння контексту надання гуманітарної допомоги та психосоціальної підтримки в умовах кризової ситуації.

Знання мови: 

• Вільне володіння українською мовою (усною та письмовою); володіння англійською мовою буде перевагою;

Знання ІТ: 

• Базові знання ІТ (Microsoft Office, Internet).

MHPSS Officer

Terre des hommes is looking for a proactive, energetic, and organised, MHPSS Officer to join its team in Mykolaiv, Ukraine, to support in the implementation of its projects. If you are looking for a meaningful job that will make a lasting impact on the lives of children, we want to meet you.

Start date  :  As soon as possible 

Contract : 10 months (with possibility of extension), local, full-time Employment Contract.

Probation  period : 3  months

Terre des hommes (Tdh) is the leading Swiss organisation for children’s aid. Since 1960, Tdh has helped build a better future for children and youth, especially those most exposed to risks, making an impact with innovative and sustainable solutions. Active in more than 30 countries, Tdh works with its own teams and/or local and international partners to develop and implement field projects which significantly improve the daily lives of over four million children and members of their communities every year, with a focus on mother and child health, migration, and access to justice for children. 

In Europe, Tdh strives to ensure the full realisation of children’s rights, equally and without discrimination. We are present in Albania, Kosovo, Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Hungary, and Greece, while together with partners, we reach children in other 14 European countries. 

Tdh started operations in Ukraine in 2015 and operated until February 2022 through 2 operational offices in Mariupol and Sievierodonetsk, while maintaining a coordination/representation office in Kyiv. Following the Invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation Army, the Tdh team has relocated in Ivano Frankivsk, where it started operations for the area of West Ukraine, which is the first operational base for the response to the current humanitarian crisis. The organization is aiming to operate in the Kyiv and surrounding areas and potentially in East Ukraine. We are providing various services to children, youth and their families in the conflict affected area, with a strong focus on psychosocial support.

ROLE DESCRIPTION 

The main function of this position is to organize group activities for psychosocial support of the population, participate in the implementation of project activities, organize and participate in monitoring within the framework of project activities.The Psychologist works closely with other mental health and psychosocial support actors including local authorities in order to map and update as needed referral pathways, support and strengthen existing in-terventions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Organizing psychosocial activities aimed at children and adolescents to improve their psychosocial well-being and develop resilience.
• Promoting educational activities to strengthen the educational capacity of parents/guardians.
• Organization of psychosocial activities to strengthen the capacity of community-based professionals to provide psychosocial support to the population.
• Coordinating the activities of mobile psychosocial support teams.
• In coordination and cooperation with the team leader, the MHPSS officer prepares weekly and monthly work plans with clear objectives that define short-, medium- and long-term priorities.
• Regularly informs the MHPSS Team Leader and Project Manager on the progress of project activities in the field and/or any changes that need to be made to the project implementation process.
• Facilitates internal and external referrals of children/adolescents attending psychosocial activities who need additional support, care or protection.
• Participates in compiling a list of necessary inventory and materials required for psychosocial sessions and trainings.
• Ensures control over the storage, use and availability of the necessary equipment and materials for events.
• Prepares and maintains working documentation in accordance with the general requirements for maintaining business records.
• Controls the transfer of inventory and materials to the organization's partners within the framework of project activities with the preparation of relevant documentation.
• Organizes and participates in monitoring and evaluation activities to collect feedback and opinions from beneficiaries on the quality and satisfaction of activities, and ensures that this feedback is used to implement psychosocial interventions.

Coordination and representation

• Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with target beneficiaries, community members, ITA partners, Project participants and non-participants, formal and informal local authorities, site management, NGOs, etc.
• Participate in forums and meetings held at the level of the host community, when appropriate and necessary.

Child protection/safeguarding

• Promote inclusion and equal access for every child, with particular attention to the most vulnerable children, children at risk and children with disabilities.
• Identify potential cases of children in need of additional support, care or protection and report them to the Case Management Team.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of information and data on beneficiaries at all times.
• Ensure that the Minimum Standards for Child Protection are integrated into all activities of the MHPSS.
• Report serious cases of violence against children in accordance with the policy of the organization "Planet of People". Strict confidentiality must be maintained.

Other

• Fully comply with TDH's Code of Conduct and ensure compliance with child protection policies at all times
• Ensure compliance with TDH standards and quality requirements in all project activities.

YOUR PROFILE 

Education/qualification:

• University degree (Bachelor's/Master's) in social work, psychology, pedagogy or other related field.

Work experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar position;
• Previous experience working with youth target groups is an advantage;
• Experience working with representatives of local communities, non-governmental organizations will be an advantage;
• Understanding of the context of providing humanitarian assistance and psychosocial support in a crisis situation.

Language skills:

• Fluency in Ukrainian (oral and written); knowledge of English will be an advantage;

IT skills:

• Basic knowledge of IT (Microsoft Office, Internet).
