Trade Analyst/Senior Trade Analyst

Purpose of Role:

To ensure that import and export business are conducted in compliance with internal and external rules and regulations. To secure a well-functioning import and export process to support our strategic goal of having products available. Optimizing the costs and time of customs processes, clearances, duties and taxes. Responsible for organizing and supporting logistics processes. 

  Principal Responsibilities:

 Handling

  • Managing and maintaining the documents related to import (and export) of products / goods. Assures operational implementation of new required legal certificates and documents per changes in the customs- and / or other legislation. Correct and timely handling of customs documents and procedures against optimum costs and in conformance to law and legislation.

 Customs Clearance

  • Correct and timely customs clearance in cooperation with broker agencies, 
  • Ensuring on time and correct customs clearance against optimal duties. Be the liaison between broker agencies, company, ABG, customs and other authorities. 

 Monitoring & Analysis

  • Monitoring Transfer Prices Changes on a weekly basis, analyze Transfer Prices Reports, reduce customs clearance risks.

 Compliance

  • Compliance with law and legislation on internal and external changes (organizational, changing law and legislation).
  • Signaling, following up and implementing new and changed customs law and legislation. Signaling and anticipating on processes within the organization. Creating awareness within the organization of the effect of internal process changes on the application of customs regulations. 

 Cooperation

  • Cooperate with the Innovation & Science department (on import requirements, documents, certificates and processes), Procurement departments (on tender processes (RFI, RFQ, PO); 
  • Supports Company and such departments as Inventory, Operations, Transport on daily work activities.
  • Cooperate with Europe, Global, Japan, South Africa, South Correa markets regarding free trade agreements.
  • Express service companies (UPS, DHL, TNT, etc.), Customs brokers, Product Suppliers, Ukrainian Customs authorities, ACC and EBA members.

 Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics/International Trade, Supply Chain or Finance/Accounting. 
  • Expert knowledge in international trade regulations 
  • Fluent knowledge of Ukrainian and Russian, English advanced level
  • Good knowledge of Customs legislation / regulations
  • From 2 to 4 years’ experience in Customs, Trade, Logistics in the international companies
  • Professional computer skills (Office, etc.)
  • Effective communication (written and oral), teamwork skills,
  • Stress resistant, Emotional intelligence Accuracy in daily work
  • Able to establish contacts easily
  • Ability to perform in a rapidly changing multi-task environment.
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills; detail oriented, ability to multi-task; good decision-making ability.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational skills and detailed oriented.
