Research Scientist

A full-time role for a professional who has deep practical experience with biochemistry, virology and point-of-care diagnostics. Experience and knowledge should cut across medical/scientific, statistical, and practical.

They will need to work independently and as part of project teams to develop physical and digital products from feasibility through validation. They will collaborate with internal and external colleagues and clients. The position requires a highly motivated scientist with an outstanding ability to design and conduct robust and efficient experiments to solve difficult technical problems. The position requires the ability to work accurately, efficiently and swiftly.

Critical Requirements

• Knowledge of experimental design
• Basic algebraic, statistical, and mathematical skills
• Good organizational skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of QSR's and ISO
• Basic Chemistry or Biochemistry

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with membrane-based immunochromatographic assays
• Laboratory skills, such as protein purification, antibody conjugation, solution preparation, ELISA experience, immunoassay development skills, etc.
• Previous experience working on AI projects
• Exposure to regulatory approval processes
