Quantitative Researcher

Atto Trading Technologies has immediate openings for Quantitative Researcher.

Quantitative Researchers at Atto Trading Technologies are responsible for building models, strategies for our automated trading system. As a mix of the trading and software developer roles, this work involves many things: analyzing large datasets, building, and testing models, creating new trading strategies, and writing the code that implements them.

The successful candidate will join the team of existing researchers. In addition to possessing excellent analytical and technical skills, the successful candidate will be a creative problem solver and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

Analyzing large datasets of high-frequency market data to test hypotheses and extract insights.

Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-frequency trading algorithms, and enhance existing ones.

Exploring trading ideas by analyzing market data and market microstructure for patterns.

Creating patterns for analyzing data.

Contributing to libraries of analytical computations to support market data analysis and trading.

Interaction with programmers for an addition of new features to our trade platform.

Requirements

Graduate degree in statistics, math, science, or another quantitative discipline.

High level of proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn) programming.

Experience with SQL.

Experience with data visualization; data manipulation/data processing.

Highly proficient in statistics.

Close attention to detail, ability to work to very high standards.

Good communicative skills and skills of work in the team.

Will be plus

Familiar with Linux.

Experience with С++.

Experience with big data.

Knowledge of financial markets, financial instruments.

Experience in creation of financial models.
