Junior logistics specialist (projects, temporary position)

World's leading makers of household products is currently looking for Logistics specialist (projects/temporary position) in Ukraine, Kyiv.

Please, be aware that we are open for an active and smart student (last courses) or graduate to show his/her best skills, willingness for continuous improvement and great experience gaining. Also, we will be happy about Logistics relevant work experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or greater in a Logistics or Engineering field;
• Logistics relevant work experience (preferable);
• Understanding of warehousing and transportation operations;
• Demonstrated team player;
• Intermediate MS Office (Excel skills (required));
• Strong analytic skills; the ability to work with big data sets and illustrate findings in a visual and easy to understand way;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across the organization;
• Upper-intermediate verbal and written English;
• Experience with optimization and continuous improvement mindset (LEAN);
• Ready for business trips.

Key Responsibilities:

• To support Logistics Team in the KPI management, review and challenge performance against KPI's;
• To become a LEAN Champion (complete internal LEAN program); be a part of the team responsible for establishment of LEAN methodology and culture;
• Coordinate and track Lean accreditation Program including Trainings and Certifications;
• To drive/support Projects resulting in cost/time savings or service improvement applying Lean Methodology;
• To partner with Procurement in tender processes for major LSP (Logistics service provider) tenders, support business requirements collection, proposals evaluation and support transitions;
• To work on Cost to serve analysis to establish data visibility and identification of possible improvements;
• Partner with Customer Supply Chain to ensure the business priorities are delivered in Logistics Operations;
• Support Logistics Team with Analytics to improve today's operations;
• Support Management Team with creative solutions for Presentations/Reviews.
