Middle Android Developer, Healthcare App

The client is a Europe-based startup company, which has expanded to the US. The client has a few projects in the Healthcare practice.

The main project relates to lab tests, vaccines, and health passports. Separate applications are developed for lab staff and patients and both of the apps work for a customer. New features are currently in development. DataArt has been working on the development of these projects for about two years.

The team consists of 1 iOS developer, 2 Android developers, 1 PM/backend developer, 1 backend developer, and 1 QA engineer.

Technology stack and infrastructure: Git, GitHub Actions, Jira, Kotlin, MVVM, Dagger, Retrofit, RxJava, Room. New tools and libraries are allowed for the development of new features.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of experience developing Android applications
• Excellent knowledge of OOP and data structures
• Skills developing applications using the Android SDK
• Experience with Kotlin
• Knowledge of web service development technologies (REST APIs in particular)
• Knowledge of architectural design patterns — MVVM, Clean architecture
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Experience with Dagger, RxJava, Room
• Good spoken English
