Database Developer, Financial Management Software

Our client is a leading provider of financial and accounting systems for international enterprises. The company delivers intricate solutions based on Microsoft technologies.

The immediate project is a desktop accounting application, which is widely used by a number of clients. Involvement in other projects is possible with time. The successful candidate will interact with DA team as well as communicate closely with the client.

We are looking for a mature DB developer, able to estimate efforts related to an assignment, establish a work plan, and manage tasks to completion without close supervision. We expect timely and accurate communication regarding the status of assignments, reassessment of expectations and risks of deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Designing database and data structures. Writing, maintaining, and optimizing stored procedures
• Working with XML Data and XML Schema (XSD)
• Working with the version control system and deployment process
• Working with technical documentation

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with MS SQL, understanding of Oracle
• Excellent knowledge of SQL
• Understanding of OLTP principles, working with locks, parallel transactions
• Understanding of ETL, Database Replication, T-SQL
• Ability to analyze, document, and manage requirements
• Spoken English
