Markit EDM Specialist, Multinational Financial Services

DataArt's specialists participate in EDM related tasks for one of the top three UK insurance companies. Data analyst helps the client in finding and clearing issues with the data.

Responsibilities

• Estimating the development effort
• Develop and maintain Markit EDM processes and applications
• Contribute to technical design of platform solution
• Create automated unit and integration tests
• Providing technical documentation for production support

Must have

• Good experience with Markit EDM and MS SQL Server DBMS
• Experience designing and developing complex EDM solutions and identify areas of optimizations
• Expert SQL, incl stored procedures, analytical SQL and query tuning
• A minimum of 3 years of market data expertise
• Familiarity with database configuration
• Detailed practical knowledge of the issues and challenges associated with market data
• Understanding change management principles and tools: schema version control, automated build, merge and deployment
• Familiarity with XML, web services and messaging technologies and concepts
• Excellent knowledge of market data requirements across asset classes with a focus on fixed income and derivatives
• Higher education in Finance / Mathematics / Physics / Economics or equivalent
• Experience working with stakeholders at various levels
• Working proficiency and communication skills in spoken and written English

Would be a plus

• Relevant qualifications/accreditations e.g. CFA
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
