Perl Developer, Communication Solutions

Our Client is one of the fastest growing startups who is transforming the multibillion-dollar enterprise safety, security, and business continuity industry. The client is building innovative solutions that help ensure safe, secure and uninterrupted business operations. They do this by tracking physical assets such as facilities, executives, employees, moving inventory, and key supply chain partners and by correlating that information on the state-of-the-art AI-based threat intelligence platform.

Responsibilities

• Building features that make it easier to monitor the safety and security
• Designing software that can track millions of assets and potential threats
• Contributing to new engineering processes and systems that will allow the team to scale in the future
• Using machine learning and data pipeline techniques to quickly detect business-impacting incidents from large scale datasets

Must have

• Experience in Perl development
• Knowledge of or experience working with Linux, writing shell scripts
• Experience with Git/GitLab
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL
• Experience developing RESTful services
• Spoken English

Would be a plus

• Experience with Python, Java, JavaScript/React, C#
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, etc.
