Senior Python Developer, Cash Flow Performance Platform

DataArt's client is an American financial startup. Their service helps enterprises collect and analyze cash flow data. The development uses machine learning algorithms to predict cash flows.

DataArt's goal is to strengthen the existing technical team that is developing new system functionality. The product integrates with third-party systems (MS Dynamics, Salesforce, etc.).

The backend of the system is developed using Python (80%) and Django (20%). The work is organized according to the principles of SCRUM.

Note that we hire specialists not to the project, but to one of DataArt's companies. If the project is over, or you become uncomfortable in it, you can discuss a transition to another project.

Responsibilities

• New features creation 60%-80% (cash flow analytics, integration with third-party systems)
• Maintenance / Bug fixing  10%-25%
• Meetings 5%-10%
• Document writing 0%-5%

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of Python programming experience
• Knowledge of Django, Flask
• Experience in creating web-services and APIs
• Good spoken English

Additional Competences

• Experience with version control systems (VCS): Git, Mercurial
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Experience in integration projects with MS Dynamics, Salesforce, etc.
