Senior Java Engineer, Media Conglomerate

DataArt is involved in software modernization of key business areas of one of the largest music conglomerates.

The solutions we're currently developing affect various aspects of recording studios: tour organization, merchandising, management of licenses and rights, analytical tools.

DataArt has developed a platform that allows you to reuse the functional units and thereby reduce the cost of creating and supporting applications.

This project will allow you to gain experience in working with complex systems and will introduce you to different aspects of the music business.

We are not hiring the specialist just for this project, but also for one of the DataArt companies. When the project is over, or if after some time you no longer are satisfied by the project, you can discuss transitioning to another project with the managers.

Must have:

• 4+ years of experience in creating web applications.
• Excellent knowledge of Java Core, Spring frameworks (Data, Boot, Security, MVC), Hibernate, Apache Camel.
• Experience in creating REST services.
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ.
• Practical experience with relational databases (Postgres, Oracle).
• Experience with NoSQL solutions is desirable (especially with Cassandra).
• Experience with requirements and project documentation.
• Knowledge of OOP, OOD, and design patterns.
• Experience in using TDD.
• Fluent in spoken English.

Would be a plus:

• Knowledge of Groovy, Scala, understanding of Python scripts.
