PHP Trainee

DataArt is inviting beginner PHP developers to take part in its paid trainee program. The goal is to achieve the level of proficiency that will allow developers to work independently in IT projects. Trainees will work on tasks in real projects under the guidance of an experienced mentor. In one of them, we're working on a high-load project (around 1mln users per month) that uses continuous integration on CircleCI and AWS. Participation in the project, will foster strong technical skills and expertise.

If at the end of the test period a trainee reaches the required professional level, they will receive a Junior PHP Engineer qualification and may continue to work in DataArt full time.

Required Skills and Experience

• Basic knowledge of PHP, JavaScript
• Knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns
• Practice expertise with databases, basic knowledge of SQL
• The ability to locally configure LAMP
• Good spoken English

Additional Competencies

• Knowledge of at least one of the PHP frameworks or CMS (Drupal, WordPress)
• Experience with Linux-like systems
