Ruby Developer, Medical Services App

UK's market leading consumer healthcare platform connecting patients with healthcare practices. Company is expanding rapidly across the UK and currently works with 3500+ private doctors, physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and podiatrists, in addition to private and NHS dentists. The platform consists of different software components that have been developed by DataArt's specialists.

We are working on the customer-facing website, the backend, the API (Ruby on Rails+ PostgreSQL), a web application for booking visits to doctors and managing calendars and alerts (Vue.js, Ruby on Rails), and native mobile clients (iOS and Android).

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of experience of development using Ruby
• Knowledge of Rails
• Experience working with PostgreSQL
• Experience deploying Rails applications
• Experience working with JavaScript frameworks - Vue.js
• Experience of integration with 3rd party systems and services
• Good spoken English

Additional Competences

• Experience deploying applications on Docker (Ansible would be a great advantage)
• Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience working with WebRTC
