Chief Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the Ukrainian local financial and tax accounting;
• Comply with Ukrainian and Headquarter reporting, audit requirements and deadlines on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis; 
• Manage a small accounting team, cooperate with other operation teams;
• Communication & correspondence with Group Accounting and Group Controlling;
• Supervise Fixed and Financial Assets;
• Prepare & manage payroll;
• Evaluate the tax & regulatory impact on company's business;
• Establish control systems to protect and ensure efficient use of assets and electronic document management;
• Contact with internal and external auditors and tax officials.

Qualification:

• University Degree in Finance / Accounting; additional certification (DipIFRS) will be an advantage.
• 3+ years of extensive experience in a senior accounting role (Chief Accountant, Deputy Chief Accountant), ideally including experience at an international company;
• Deep Ukrainian accounting, tax knowledge;
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards;
• PC literate, accounting software (1C/BAS) skills & experience;
• Working knowledge of English (or/and German) — conversation & correspondence;
• Accurate, well-organized, stress-resistant and flexible;
