Position Summary:
The Buyer will have responsibility for supporting of the Ukraine Hub Buyer in procurement activities of all Capex projects for the all group entities (silos, oil extraction plant, etc) in Ukraine.
The Buyer will adhere to strategic sourcing initiatives through collaboration with Eastern Europe HUB Procurement .
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage Purchase Request queries for all purchase orders issued, weekly. This includes the acknowledgement and overdue queries. Proper management of queries includes periodic review (at a minimum weekly) of the queries and performing the actions required to address items on those queries.
- Follow up with Vendors as Required.
- Follow up with the Purchase Requisition writers as required.
- Follow up with Warehouse personnel as required.
- Support the implementation of Strategic Sourcing contracts.
- Responsible for ensuring 100% compliance with the Global Non-Commodity Procure-to-Pay Policy and Local SOP.
- The Buyer will be adhere to KPI’s developed by the EE HUB Procurement and Operations Purchasing Manager to track Procure-to-Pay metrics (POs before invoice, PO cycle time, on-time delivery, PO consolidation, and others), and collaborate with location colleagues to drive continuous improvement in these areas
- Regular reporting on savings, discounts, other commercial reductions from suppliers, contractors.
- Drive enhanced supplier relationship management through regular collaboration with the Hub Procurement and Division Operations supply base to ensure action is taken on all issues related to cost, quality delivery and customer service
- Assist in sourcing projects as needed (market analysis, RFQ preparation with EE Hub Procurement alignment, data analysis and consolidation, documentation preparation)
