KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with business partners to ensure compliance with Ukrainian legislation during the supply of goods, execution of works, and provision of services to the Company.

  • Ensure timely tax payments.

  • Provide other requested assistance.

  • Seamlessly manage the Client-Bank and process bank statements.

  • Maintain meticulous records of fixed assets, intangible assets, goods, and materials.

  • Coordinate the reconciliation of balances and settlements with suppliers.

  • Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable:

    • Perform month-end accruals, ensuring prompt closure of accounts payable within reporting timeframes.
    • Assist with cash flow management and ensure timely scheduling of vendor payments.
    • Ensure correct coding and allocation of expenses in the ERP system.
    • Identify opportunities to optimize the ERP system.
  • Take charge of Value Added Tax (VAT) management.

  • Manage and process expense reports, advances, and reimbursements.

  • Assist in monthly management reporting following US GAAP.

  • Test and develop procedures related to the accounting system and internal controls.

  • Coordinate processes related to month-end closing, continuously improving procedures for enhanced control.

  • Provide support during internal and external tax audits.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Higher Education:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field of study.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of abundant and relevant work experience.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to liaise successfully with all levels of management and team members, both internally and externally.

Language Proficiency:

  • English proficiency at an intermediate level.

Computer Literacy:

  • Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in:
    • MS Office
    • Outlook
    • Advanced Excel skills.

Work Skills:

  • Ability to work in a multi-task environment.
  • Demonstrated capability to meet deadlines.
