Currently, we are hiring Billing Specialist , who will be working with internal and external customers to perform various billing and other AR-related functions to support the Nextiva's billings operations processes.
Main Responsibilities:
· Create invoices and credit memos to customer accounts
· Assist customers with billing questions and resolve billing issues
· Process product returns and issue credits for cancellation
· Research and respond to customer credit card disputes
· Maintain detailed logs of customer interactions
· Answer inbound phone calls and instant messages
· Support Nextiva's ticketing system
· Provide back-up customer support for other positions as needed
· Receive and post incoming payments
· Monitor Accounts Receivable Aging for all overdue accounts
· Process credit applications and set customers up on invoicing
· Communicate with customers with delinquent accounts via email and in person by phone, and attempt to secure payment to settle open accounts
· Work with internal customers in other departments as needed
· Research discrepancies and help to settle disputes
· Record information about the financial status of customers and status of collection efforts
· Order service disconnection (disable) of accounts as necessary
· Determine late fees for delinquent accounts per Company guidelines
· Update customer account information to include change of address, payment information or contact information
· Send customer copies of invoices upon request
· Perform other billing or accounting tasks as assigned
Position Requirements:
· Advanced English (both written and oral)
· Exceptional Excel Skills and general computer literacy
· Basic accounting and bookkeeping background
· Excellent multi-tasking and communication skills;
· Bachelor's degree (students are considered);
· Ability to work both independently and in a team setting with minimal supervision
