Information and Сommunication Technology Specialist

Based in Luhansk

AIM OF THE POSITION

The ICT Specialist provides first and second level support to ICT users in ICRC offices. S/he also participates in ICT infrastructure installations and maintenance and is responsible for maintaining equipment in good working order.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides technical support to users;
• Ensures ICT inventory is updated regularly and maintains adequate stocks levels.
• Ensures existing ICT infrastructure is functional.
• Ensures that global/country-level policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
• Briefs, advises and trains end-users on the ICRC's ICT systems.
• Drafts and updates technical documentation for all ICT installations.
• Installs, maintains, repairs and monitors ICT equipment and infrastructures in line with ICRC standards.
• Ensures and is responsible for the attribution and storage of equipment;

The tasks and responsibilities defined above are not exhaustive and can evolve depending on organizational needs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education and Professional qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, electronics, computer science or similar field.
• 3-4 years' troubleshooting experience in an area of the ICT service catalogue (e.g. workplace services, telecommunications, IT, help desk, etc.)
• Good command (spoken and written) of English.
• Very good ICT knowledge.
• Capacity to adhere to and to implement procedures;
• Rigor, method and analytical skills;
• Flexibility and willingness for regular business trips;

• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Strong sense of responsibility;
• Good team player.
