    The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent organization whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of armed conflict and other situations of violence and to provide them with assistance.


    The ICRC is mandated to work in countries affected by armed conflict or other situations of violence. The ICRC is present in over 80 countries and has some 13,000 field staff.


    In 2014, the ICRC expanded its presence to Ukraine. There are more than 300 ICRC staff working in Kyiv, Sloviansk, Severodonetsk, Mariupol, Donetsk, Luhansk and Odesa.

    Based in Sloviansk





    • Assess, plan, implement, monitor, evaluate and report MHPSS programs addressed to population affected by the conflict in Sloviansk and surroundings (Government controlled area of Donetsk Oblast)





    • Provide psychological and psychosocial support to conflict affected population through individual, family or group interventions.
    • Coordinate and strengthen the capacities (training, coaching, case supervision) of URCS volunteers participating in ICRC MHPSS programs
    • Maintain regular contact with other stakeholders involved in MHPSS activities in the country (networking) and make appropriate referrals to those services if necessary.



    The tasks and responsibilities defined above are not exhaustive and can evolve depending on organizational needs.





    Education and professional qualifications


    • University degree
    • 4 years work experience in a similar field of activity
    • Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English
    • Good computer knowledge
