Junior Strong/Middle Android Developer

Bored of developing serious business applications for no less serious guys? We have sooomething special for you ;) Read more at the project description. We are looking for an Android developer with 1,5 + years of commercial experience in Android development and a nice sense of humor.

MUST HAVE

• 1,5+ years of experience with Android software engineering;
• Experience with Java, Kotlin, Android SDK;
• Solid knowledge of Gradle, RxJava2, DI (Dagger2/Koin);
• Knowledge of Design patterns, Material design, Custom views, Building responsive UI;
• A clear understanding of Databases concepts (db designing, db migration, sqlite, orm's) and Networking concepts (REST, http);
• Good knowledge of Google Play services;
• Experience with Unit testing;
• Good spoken and written English (intermediate or higher).

WILL BE A PLUS

Knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines, Room, Firebase (db, fcm, dynamic links, remote config) will be a plus.

Our Client is a US startup based in BostonDo a good thing - help people to have fun with cannabis. Yees, you heard all right. Cannabis :)

We're developing a mobile application for the USA market, where some kinds of drugs are legalized (even for medical purpose).

This application can help you to choose the perfect kind of magic grass, which suits individually you. How does it work? You pass 5 gamified quizzes and results determine the psychographic profile, core psychology, and desired state. As a result, the application generates a unique code which helps you to choose a perfect item especially for you.

Apart from a funny idea, at first sight, many technical challenges are waiting for you on this project: difficult non-ordinary UI components, animations and many other.

And finally, the project received $18M of investment a few months ago, sooo it will rise and develop.
