Senior/Middle Java Engineer

We're looking to add a Senior/Middle Java Engineer to our team.

Purpose of the job:

• Work as part of skilled, all-purpose team, with strong DevOps culture

• Work in close contact with system architects on customer side

• Work with a wide range of the advanced technologies

• Propose new ideas and take new challenges

Responsibilities:

• Update and support k8s / helm cluster

• Perform data engineering and aggregation within an array of relational data bases

• Implement and support applications using Java and Kafka streams

• Take an active role in architectural discussions

• Work closely with Engineering teams

• Work in close contact with team members and project stakeholders on the client’s site

Required skills:

• Strong understanding of k8s / helm backed by commercial development experience on the topic

• Good data engineering skills (Postgres, MySQL)

• Fluent with Java

• Good understanding of microservice architecture and role of following tools: fluentd, Prometheus, elk stack, graphana, Apache Spark

• Good understanding of Kafka, Kafka streams

• Commercial development experience 5+ years

• Full application lifecycle experience

• Debugging skills

• Good English and communication skills

• Accountability and self organization

• Fast research and learning skills

• Experience in React/Vue.js and a will to work on frontend implementation
