Concept Designer, 2D Artist

We're looking for a Concept Designer to join our big team! 

As a member of Lens Design team, you will create lenses (face AR effects) for our application. Working from Odessa office, you'll collaborate with teams across the world to deliver best creative content for Snapchat lenses users.

What you'll do:

- Come up with ideas for new face lenses

- Visualize your ideas in 2D

- Manage lens production process (manage workflow in Jira)

- Communicate with different departments regarding lens production process

- Fill in briefing templates with purpose of direct briefing of relevant designers to develop lens resources (3D/VFX)

- Provide art direction support during entire lens production process

- Develop creative solutions and ideas for AR related projects as well as creative ways of different new tech implementations

- Work with audience analytics and statistics

- Participate in brainstorms

- Learn how to use Lens Studio

- Be open to giving and receiving design feedback

Minimum qualifications:

- Advanced 2D drawing skills

- Advanced art direction skills

- Ability to offer creative solutions based on analytic /market and research data

- English (Intermediate or Upper-intermediate)

- Briefing skills

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience collaborating with 3D and VFX departments (understanding technical specifics)

- Knowledge of at least one program besides PS (After Effects, Maya, Cinema 4D, etc.)

- Presentation skills

- Production process management skills

- Target Audience analytic skills

- Ability to work under circumstances when briefing details are not clear (or frequently changing)

- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

- A self-starter, collaborator, and team player
